Large-radius curved tempered glass — covering the full range of large bending radii, with R = 80 m commonly used as a representative reference — looks almost flat to the eye, yet every panel must land precisely on the same curve so that a flowing facade reads as one continuous surface. Xunyuan Glass (Henan Xunyuan Glass Co., Ltd.) processes large-radius curved tempered glass with thicknesses from 5 to 19 mm, arc lengths up to 8 m and panel heights up to 6 m, all completed on in-house tempering, laminating and insulating lines. One-panel minimum order; standard lead time 7–10 days. Feasibility for any given radius is confirmed per drawing.
Why large radii are the harder job
Small-radius curved glass is difficult to form; large-radius glass is difficult to keep true. Using R = 80 m as a representative reference, a 3 m chord rises only about 14 mm at the center — invisible on the shop floor. Curve accuracy therefore depends entirely on furnace technology and process discipline. Our dual-chamber forced-convection tempering furnaces heat large panels uniformly, while stress balance and flatness are tuned through repeated parameter trials. Diagonal tolerance, flatness and bow are all controlled within national standards.

Curved + insulated units for energy-efficient facades; curved + laminated (PVB/SGP) for skylights and overhead glazing; curved + Low-E coatings and curved + ceramic frit for decorated envelopes. Low-iron ultra-clear substrates from leading float glass brands are available. During laminating and insulating, panels are set on curve-matched supports to prevent distortion in secondary processing.
