1. Product Overview

Polka dot glass is a type of ceramic fritted glass. An inorganic ceramic frit is applied to clear or low-iron glass via silk-screen or digital printing to form a regular dot pattern, then dried and fired at approximately 600-700°C so that the frit fuses with the glass body, followed by tempering or curved tempering. The result retains transparency and safety while providing shading, glare control and privacy — including on curved and irregular surfaces.

2. Key Advantages

1. High-temperature fired frit bonds with the glass: resistant to acids/alkalis, weathering and aging — no fading, no peeling. Not a film or a coating.

2. Tempered strength approximately 3-5× that of annealed glass of the same thickness; breaks into blunt small particles for safety.

3. White silk-screen frit glass can achieve a shading coefficient of about 0.32, reducing solar heat gain, cooling loads and glare while preserving privacy.

4. Curved + frit composite (core differentiation): well-formed dot spacing, dot diameter and layout on curved, curved-surface and irregular profiles. Arc length up to 8m; 6m ultra-wide tempering line.

5. Large format and precision: flat tempering up to 6m wide × 13m long; small radius from 300mm, irregular shapes from 350mm; thickness 5-19mm.

6. CCC certification and test reports; raw glass from first-tier mills (CSG, Xinyi, Yaopi, Taiwan Glass, Jinjing), ultra-clear low-iron available; diagonal tolerance, flatness and waviness controlled within national standard limits.
