For projects on a tight schedule, the first question is always: "When will it be ready?" Curved tempered glass is made to order, so lead time is not a random promise — it is the sum of each production stage. Knowing the timeline helps you plan, and also helps you tell a real factory from a middleman.
1. Standard Orders: 7–10 Days
For a typical curved tempered glass order, from confirmed drawings to dispatch, a factory with in-house lines usually delivers in 7–10 days. The stages:
· Drawing detailing (1 day): After receiving CAD files, we split panels, issue production drawings and confirm processes — detailed drawings within 24 hours, plus structural selection advice.
· Cutting & pre-processing (1–2 days): Cutting, edging, hole drilling, etc. Common raw glass sizes are kept in stock.
· Curving & tempering (2–3 days): Heating, bending and rapid cooling in the tempering furnace; complex shapes may take longer.
· Combination processes (1–3 days): Lamination, insulation, coating — the more processes, the longer.
· QC & packaging (1 day): Checking dimensions, flatness and appearance, then crating and loading.
A simple single curved pane ships in about 7 days; laminated/insulated units or large batches take around 10 days. This pace assumes an in-house production line.

2. Rush Orders: 24 Hours for Simple Panes
Finishing work often needs replacement panes at the last minute. Factories that control their own lines can prioritize rush orders. XunYuan Glass runs 3 tempering furnaces and full supporting lines: simple single curved panes can ship in as little as 24 hours; combination units can be compressed to 3–5 days. Rush service carries an extra fee and suits emergency replacement rather than large batches.
A useful check: if a supplier says "even rush orders take 10+ days," they are probably a middleman without their own line, waiting in a factory's queue.

3. Three Key Factors Affecting Lead Time
· Order volume: dozens of square meters vs. thousands — production planning differs.
· Process complexity: small radii, special shapes and multi-layer combinations add time.
· Raw glass stock: common thicknesses are ready to cut; special thicknesses or specified brands require waiting for raw glass delivery.
Note: lead time refers to factory dispatch; shipping is additional. XunYuan Glass has its own logistics plus a long-term carrier network, shipping nationwide and overseas, with dedicated transport solutions for 6m extra-wide glass and on-site lifting guidance.
